For a change, I thought I would write down some of the recipes I use for cooking.

Peas Pulav

Ingredients:
  • Basmati rice
  • Sweet peas, cauliflower
  • jeera(cumin seeds), tej pata(bay leaves), garam masala powder
  • Ghee
Process:

Wash 1 cup of rice, put 3 cups of water to it and heat in microwave for 14 minutes.
Drain the water out of the rice, mix "sufficient" amount of salt and sugar thoroughly with it.
Heat 3 teaspoons of ghee in a big pan and put 2 bay leaves and 2 tablespoons of jeera on it. After a few seconds, add 1 cup of sweet peas on it. Stir and fry the peas for 2 minutes and then add the rice. Stir for 1 minute and switch off the oven. Add and mix one teaspoon of garam masala.

Cut half of a cauliflower into small pieces and then fry them. Then, spread them over the pulav and serve hot.
